History

Why are there no fragrances that suit the Japanese on the market?

This question was behind the birth of RISINGWAVE in 2005.
At that time, brands from overseas dominated the fragrance market, and there were no scents that suited Japanese men.

When we talk about fragrance, we use the word “wear”.
It is a part of fashion and is said to be an invisible garment which is the last thing we put on.
However, when we started, many of the fragrances had a strong scent. Most of them were too overpowering for some occasions.

We wanted fragrances for men, which suited Japanese culture and the lifestyle of people living in close proximity to each other, and which were pleasant for the people around the wearer as well.

We aim to continue to create RISINGWAVE fragrances that suit Japanese men in any situation.
